the 700 & 4l60e bellhousings

the 4l60e bellhousing:   must use 98-99 full size 1500 chevy pickup with 4.3 or 5.7....    or 98-2014 full size chevy van with 4.3 or 5.7.  LS trans will not work.  so to simplify things, any of the 4l60e transmissions with removable bellhousing, that didnt come from an LS engine application with work.  64 to 66 engine direct bolt on (provided flexplate has the 300 converter pattern.).  57 to 63 requires centering bushing for crank (40) , special flexplate with ring gear (185) and starter spacer for use with dynaflow starter (65) or mini starter.
 
the 700 bellhousing:  can use any chevy 700r4.  you simply cut off the bellhousing on the stock case, and ours bolts to the front pump.  very easy install.  comes with instructions and mounting hardware.  no need for cobbled together spacers.  takes up the same physical space as a dynaflow or 400 trands.
